代下27:1 约坦登基的时候，是二十五岁；他在耶路撒冷作王共十六年；他的母亲名叫耶路沙，是撒督的女儿。
代下27:1 Jotham was twenty-five years old when he became king; and he was ruling in Jerusalem for sixteen years; and his mother's name was Jerushah, the daughter of Zadok.
代下27:2 约坦行耶和华看为正的事，像他父亲乌西雅一切所行的，只是没有进入耶和华的殿；但人民还是行败坏的事。
代下27:2 He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, as his father Uzziah had done; but he did not go into the Temple of the Lord. And the people still went on in their evil ways.
代下27:3 约坦建造了耶和华殿的上门；在俄斐勒的城墙上，他也有很多建设。
代下27:3 He put up the higher doorway of the house of the Lord, and did much building on the wall of the Ophel.
代下27:4 他在犹大山地建造城市，又在树林中建造一些营寨和瞭望楼。
代下27:4 In addition, he made towns in the hill-country of Judah, and strong buildings and towers in the woodlands.
代下27:5 约坦和亚扪人的王交战，战胜了他们；那一年，亚扪人就献给他三千四百公斤银子，一千公吨小麦，一千公吨大麦；第二年和第三年，亚扪人也献给他这个数目。
代下27:5 He went to war with the king of the children of Ammon and overcame them. That year, the children of Ammon gave him a hundred talents of silver, and ten thousand measures of grain and ten thousand measures of barley. And the children of Ammon gave him the same amount the second year and the third.
代下27:6 约坦在耶和华他的 神面前坚守正道，所以日渐强盛。
代下27:6 So Jotham became strong, because in all his ways he made the Lord his guide.
代下27:7 约坦其余的事迹，他的一切战争和作为，都记在以色列和犹大列王记上。
代下27:7 Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all his wars and his ways, are recorded in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah.
代下27:8 他登基的时候是二十五岁；他在耶路撒冷作王共十六年。
代下27:8 He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he was ruling in Jerusalem for sixteen years.
代下27:9 约坦和他的列祖同睡，埋葬在大卫城里；他的儿子亚哈斯接续他作王。
代下27:9 And Jotham went to rest with his fathers, and they put his body into the earth in the town of David; and Ahaz his son became king in his place.
