代下22:1 耶路撒冷的居民立了约兰的小儿子亚哈谢接续他作王；因为那些和阿拉伯人同来攻营的匪徒，把亚哈谢的哥哥全都杀了。这样，犹大王约兰的儿子亚哈谢就作了王。
代下22:1 And the people of Jerusalem made Ahaziah, his youngest son, king in his place, for the band of men who came with the Arabians to the army had put all the older sons to death. So Ahaziah, the son of Jehoram, became king.
代下22:2 亚哈谢登基的时候是二十二岁（“二十二岁”原文作“四十二岁”；现参照古译本和王下8:26修译）；他在耶路撒冷作王一年。他的母亲名叫亚他利雅，是暗利的孙女。
代下22:2 Ahaziah was twenty-two years old when he became king, and he was ruling in Jerusalem for one year. His mother's name was Athaliah, the daughter of Omri.
代下22:3 亚哈谢也随从亚哈家的道路，因为他母亲教唆他行恶。
代下22:3 He went in the ways of the family of Ahab, for his mother was his teacher in evil-doing.
代下22:4 他行耶和华看为恶的事，好像亚哈家一样，因为他的父亲死了以后，亚哈家的人就教唆他，好使他灭亡。
代下22:4 And he did evil in the eyes of the Lord, as the family of Ahab did; for after the death of his father they were his guides to his destruction.
代下22:5 他随从了他们的计谋，和以色列王亚哈的儿子约兰一同到基列的拉末去，和亚兰王哈薛交战；亚兰人击伤了约兰。
代下22:5 Acting on their suggestion, he went with Jehoram, son of Ahab, king of Israel, to make war on Hazael, king of Aram, at Ramoth-gilead: and Joram was wounded by the bowmen.
代下22:6 于是约兰回到耶斯列去，医治他在拉末和亚兰王交战的时候所受的伤。犹大王约兰的儿子亚撒利雅，因亚哈的儿子约兰病了，就下到耶斯列去看他。
代下22:6 And he went back to Jezreel to get well from the wounds which they had given him at Ramah when he was fighting against Hazael, king of Aram. And Ahaziah, the son of Jehoram, king of Judah, went down to Jezreel to see Jehoram, the son of Ahab, because he was ill.
代下22:7 亚哈谢去见约兰，就遇了害，这原是出于 神；因为他去到以后，就和约兰一同出去攻击宁示的孙子耶户。这耶户就是耶和华所膏的，为要除灭亚哈家。
代下22:7 Now by the purpose of God, Ahaziah's journey to see Jehoram was the cause of his downfall: for when he came there, he went out with Jehoram against Jehu, the son of Nimshi, who had been marked out by the Lord for the destruction of the family of Ahab.
代下22:8 耶户讨伐亚哈家的罪的时候，遇见了犹大的众领袖和亚哈谢的兄弟的儿子，他们都是侍候亚哈谢的，耶户把他们都杀了。
代下22:8 Now when Jehu was effecting the punishment of the family of Ahab, he came to the princes of Judah and the sons of Ahaziah's brothers, the servants of Ahaziah, and put them to death.
代下22:9 耶户追寻亚哈谢。那时，亚哈谢躲藏在撒玛利亚，有人捉住他，把他带到耶户那里，耶户就杀了他，却把他埋葬了，因为他们说：“他是约沙法的孙子；这约沙法是一心寻求耶和华的。”这样，亚哈谢的家没有一人有能力可以保持王权的。
代下22:9 And he went in search of Ahaziah; and when they came where he was, (for he was in a secret place in Samaria,) they took him to Jehu and put him to death; then they put his body to rest in the earth, for they said, He is the son of Jehoshaphat, whose heart was true to the Lord. So the family of Ahaziah had no power to keep the kingdom.
代下22:10 亚哈谢的母亲亚他利雅见自己的儿子死了，就起来杀尽犹大家中所有王族的后裔。
代下22:10 Now when Athaliah, the mother of Ahaziah, saw that her son was dead, she had all the rest of the seed of the kingdom of Judah put to death.
代下22:11 但是王的女儿约示巴，把亚哈谢的儿子约阿施从那些将要被杀的王子中偷出来，把他和他的乳母都藏在卧房里。约兰王的女儿约示巴是大祭司耶何耶大的妻子，把约阿施收藏起来，躲避亚他利雅，免得被亚他利雅杀死，因为约示巴是亚哈谢的妹妹。
代下22:11 But Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king, secretly took Joash, the son of Ahaziah, away from among the king's sons who were put to death, and put him and the woman who took care of him in a bedroom. So Jehoshabeath, the daughter of King Jehoram, the wife of Jehoiada the priest and sister of Ahaziah, kept him safe from Athaliah, so that she did not put him to death.
代下22:12 约阿施和他们在 神的殿里一同躲藏了六年；那时亚他利雅统治犹大地。
代下22:12 And she kept him safe with her in the house of God for six years, while Athaliah was ruling the land.
