    [niv] Hear me, O God, as I voice my complaint; protect my life from the threat of the enemy.
    [asv] Hear my voice, O God, in my complaint:  Preserve my life from fear of the enemy.

    [niv] Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from that noisy crowd of evildoers.
    [asv] Hide me from the secret counsel of evil-doers,  From the tumult of the workers of iniquity;  
    [jnd] Hide me from the secret counsel of evil-doers, from the tumultuous crowd of the workers of iniquity,
    [kjv] Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:

    [niv] They sharpen their tongues like swords and aim their words like deadly arrows.
    [asv] Who have whet their tongue like a sword,  And have aimed their arrows, even bitter words,  
    [jnd] Who have sharpened their tongue like a sword, have aimed their arrow, a bitter word;
    [kjv] Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:
    [nwb] Who whet their tongue like a sword, bend their arrows, bitter words:
    [rsv] who whet their tongues like swords, who aim bitter words like arrows,

    [niv] They shoot from ambush at the innocent man; they shoot at him suddenly, without fear.
    [asv] That they may shoot in secret places at the perfect:  Suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.  
    [jnd] That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
    [kjv] That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
    [nwb] That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.

    [bbe] So that in secret they may let loose their arrows at the upright, suddenly and unseen.

    [niv] They encourage each other in evil plans, they talk about hiding their snares; they say, "Who will see them ?"
    [asv] They encourage themselves in an evil purpose;  They commune of laying snares privily;  They say, Who will see them?  
    [jnd] They encourage themselves in an evil matter, they concert to hide snares; they say, Who will see them?
    [kjv] They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?
    [nwb] They encourage themselves an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who will see them?
    [rsv] They hold fast to their evil purpose; they talk of laying snares secretly, thinking, "Who can see us?
    [web] . They encourage themselves in evil plans.They talk about laying snares secretly.They say, "Who will see them?"
    [ylt] They strengthen for themselves an evil thing, They recount of the hiding of snares, They have said, `Who doth look at it?'
    [bbe] They make themselves strong in an evil purpose; they make holes for secret nets; they say, Who will see it,
64:6 [cbgb] ËûÃÇͼı¼é¶ñ£¬Ëµ£¬ÎÒÃÇÊǼ«Á¦Í¼Ä±µÄ¡£ËûÃǸ÷È˵ÄÒâÄîÐÄ˼ÊÇÉîµÄ¡£ < | >
    [niv] They plot injustice and say, "We have devised a perfect plan!" Surely the mind and heart of man are cunning.
    [asv] They search out iniquities;  We have accomplished, say they, a diligent search:  And the inward thought and the heart of every one is deep.  
    [jnd] They devise iniquities: We have it ready, the plan is diligently sought out. And each one's inward and heart is deep.
    [kjv] They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.
    [nwb] They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward of every one , and the heart, deep.
    [rsv] Who can search out our crimes? We have thought out a cunningly conceived plot." For the inward mind and heart of a man are deep!

    [bbe] Or make discovery of our secret purpose? The design is framed with care; and the inner thought of a man, and his heart, is deep.

    [niv] But God will shoot them with arrows; suddenly they will be struck down.
    [asv] But God will shoot at them;  With an arrow suddenly shall they be wounded.  
    [jnd] But God will shoot an arrow at them: suddenly are they wounded;
    [kjv] But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.
    [nwb] But God shall shoot at them an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.
    [rsv] But God will shoot his arrow at them; they will be wounded suddenly.
    [web] . But God will shoot at them.They will be suddenly struck down with an arrow.
    [ylt] And God doth shoot them an arrow, Sudden have been their wounds,
    [bbe] But God sends out an arrow against them; suddenly they are wounded.

    [niv] He will turn their own tongues against them and bring them to ruin; all who see them will shake their heads in scorn.
    [asv] So they shall be made to stumble, their own tongue being against them:  All that see them shall wag the head.  
    [jnd] By their own tongue they are made to fall over one another: all that see them shall flee away.
    [kjv] So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.
    [nwb] So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.
    [rsv] Because of their tongue he will bring them to ruin; all who see them will wag their heads.

    [niv] All mankind will fear; they will proclaim the works of God and ponder what he has done.
    [asv] And all men shall fear;  And they shall declare the work of God,  And shall wisely consider of his doing.  
    [jnd] And all men shall fear, and shall declare God's doing; and they shall wisely consider his work.
    [kjv] And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing.

    [niv] Let the righteous rejoice in the LORD and take refuge in him; let all the upright in heart praise him!
    [asv] The righteous shall be glad in Jehovah, and shall take refuge in him;  And all the upright in heart shall glory. Psalm
    [jnd] The righteous shall rejoice in Jehovah, and trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.
    [kjv] The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.
