56:1	[cbgb]	（非利士人在迦特拿住大卫。那时他作这金诗，交与伶长，调用远方无声鸽）　神阿，求你怜悯我，因为人要把我吞了，终日攻击欺压我。 >
	[niv]	Be merciful to me, O God, for men hotly pursue me; all day long they press their attack.
	[asv]	Be merciful unto me, O God; for man would swallow me up: All the day long he fighting oppresseth me.
	[jnd]	{To the chief Musician. On Jonathelem-rechokim. Of David. Michtam; when the Philistines took him in Gath.} Be gracious unto me, O God; for man would swallow me up: all the day long fighting he oppresseth me.

	[niv]	My slanderers pursue me all day long; many are attacking me in their pride.
	[asv]	Mine enemies would swallow me up all the day long; For they are many that fight proudly against me.
	[jnd]	Mine enemies would swallow up all the day long; for they are many that fight against me haughtily.
	[kjv]	Mine enemies would daily swallow me up: for they be many that fight against me, O thou most High.

	[niv]	In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?
	[asv]	In God (I will praise his word), In God have I put my trust, I will not be afraid; What can flesh do unto me?
	[jnd]	In God will I praise his word, in God I put my confidence: I will not fear; what can flesh do unto me?

	[niv]	They conspire, they lurk, they watch my steps, eager to take my life.
	[asv]	They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, They mark my steps, Even as they have waited for my soul.

	[niv]	On no account let them escape; in your anger, O God, bring down the nations.
	[asv]	Shall they escape by iniquity? In anger cast down the peoples, O God.

	[niv]	Record my lament; list my tears on your scroll -- are they not in your record?
	[asv]	Thou numberest my wanderings: Put thou my tears into thy bottle; Are they not in thy book?

	[niv]	Then my enemies will turn back when I call for help. By this I will know that God is for me.
	[asv]	Then shall mine enemies turn back in the day that I call: This I know, that God is for me.
	[jnd]	Then shall mine enemies return backward in the day when I call: this I know, for God is for me.
	[kjv]	When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me.

	[asv]	Thy vows are upon me, O God: I will render thank-offerings unto thee.

	[kjv]	Thy vows are upon me, O God: I will render praises unto thee.
	[nwb]	Thy vows upon me, O God: I will render praises to thee.
	[rsv]	My vows to thee I must perform, O God; I will render thank offerings to thee.

	[niv]	For you have delivered me from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.
